Baptism

Baptism is a public expression of faith. As an act of obedience to the Lord it is your immediate Next Step after accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life.

At Church for the City, we celebrate baptisms as a congregation on Sunday mornings.

Open House

At Open House, you will learn more about Church for the City- our heart and vision, our teams, and how you can be a part of it all. This is the perfect opportunity to get a tour of the building, hear how you can start serving, meet our ministry leaders, and hear our story. Most of all we want everyone to feel welcomed and know that you belong here! Open house is targeted for those who are ready to get connected, serve on a team, or become a member here at Church for the City.

Open house takes place on the last Sunday of each month at 12:45PM, however, July Open House is cancelled. Join us instead on August 27th. Lunch will be provided.

Life Groups

One of the best ways to get connected at Church for the City is to join a Life Group. Life Groups are small groups of people that meet regularly for connection and spiritual growth. All ages, stages of life, and spiritual maturity are welcome. Our goal is to keep a strong sense of community while creating options that meet individual needs.

Serve Teams

At Church for the City, we hope to see you make a difference by using your unique personality traits and spiritual gifts. Each of us are an important part of the body of Christ, and together we glorify God. You get to be a part of that by joining a Serve Team!

Dedications

At Church for the City, we believe children are a gift from the Lord. We celebrate life together as a church family by acknowledging the blessing that children are, and standing together to support parents in raising their children in the Lord. It is the practice of many churches to present children before the Lord in the form of infant baptism. Church for the City does not practice infant baptism, however, we do practice and encourage the dedication of children to the Lord publicly during the Sunday morning service. Though we do not disregard the practice of other Christian churches, we can identify child dedication in the Bible. Schedule your child's dedication today!
